How to make breaded eggplant

To make this eggplant, we will use ingredients that we usually have at home and that are inexpensive, such as eggplant, egg, wheat flour, breadcrumbs, black pepper, and salt. In addition, we will only use oil for frying. Preparing this breaded eggplant recipe is extremely simple! First, we cut the eggplant into slices and sprinkle a little salt on top, letting it drain for 30 minutes. Dry the eggplants, coat them in wheat flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs, and fry them in oil until golden brown. Place them on paper towels to drain the excess oil and then enjoy this wonderful breaded eggplant!

Ingredients for the breaded eggplant recipe

  • 1 medium eggplant
  • 1 whole egg
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • black pepper and salt to taste

Preparation method

  1. Remove the ends of the eggplant and cut into slices approximately 1/2 finger thick.
  2. Season the slices with a pinch of salt on all sides and place them in a sieve or colander, leaving the liquid to drain for 30 minutes.
  3. Dry the eggplants well with paper towels and set aside.
