How to prepare wheat pudding

How to make wheat pudding

To prepare the wheat pudding, we will need milk, sugar, wheat flour and eggs. First, we will caramelize the bottom and sides of a mold with a central hole according to the step by step and set aside. Then, we will blend the wheat pudding ingredients in the blender, following the order of addition and preparation.

Then, we will pour this mixture into the caramelized mold, cover it with aluminum foil and bake the wheat pudding in a bain-marie for approximately 70 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. We remove the wheat pudding from the oven, let it cool, refrigerate for 2 hours, unmold it and enjoy each succulent slice of this beautiful wheat pudding!

  • ½ cup of water 
  • 1 cup of sugar 

For the pudding 

  • 3 cups of milk 
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of wheat flour 
  • 5 eggs

Preparation method 

From the syrup 

  1. Place the sugar in a pan, heat over low heat and leave until it melts and forms a golden syrup. 
  2. Carefully add the water, bring to the boil, and dissolve until you get a shiny caramel. Caramelize the bottom and sides of a 23 cm diameter mold with a hole in the center and set aside. 

From the pudding 

  1. Place the eggs in the blender and beat well for 3 minutes until white. Add the milk, sugar and wheat flour and beat for another 2 minutes.
  2. Pour this mixture into the caramelized pan, cover with aluminum foil and bake in a bain-marie, in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 70 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven, let cool, refrigerate for 2 hours, remove from the refrigerator and unmold onto a serving dish. 
  4. Then serve this wonderful wheat pudding!
