How to make oven pancakes

To make this oven-baked pancake, we will use ingredients that we usually have at home, such as ground beef, mixed vegetables, tomato sauce, olive oil, chopped green olives, egg, sugar, salt, oil, water, wheat flour, baking powder, grated mozzarella cheese, and oregano. Preparing this oven-baked pancake is very simple! First, we heat the filling and set it aside. Then, we beat the batter and pour half of it into a greased and floured pan. Then we add the filling, the rest of the batter, the mozzarella cheese, and the oregano. We bake for 30 minutes and then enjoy this delicious treat!

Oven Pancake Recipe Ingredients

For the filling

  • 250 g of sautéed and seasoned ground beef
  • 1 can of mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • olive oil and chopped green olives to taste

For the dough

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

For assembly

  • 100 g grated mozzarella cheese
  • oregano to taste

Preparation method

From the filling

  1. In a pan, fry the ground beef, sautéed and seasoned in olive oil until lightly browned.
  2. Add the chopped green olives, mixed vegetables and tomato sauce and sauté until heated through. Set aside.

From the dough

  1. In a bowl, place the eggs and beat well until they start to foam.
  2. Add the sugar, salt, oil, water, wheat flour and baking powder, mixing well after each addition.

From the assembly

  1. Pour half of the dough into a greased and floured pan and cover with the filling.
  2. Place the remaining dough on top and spread the grated mozzarella cheese and oregano over the dough.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes, or until golden, and then enjoy this delicious, warm oven-baked pancake!
